R.I.P. MOUNTY

I write with a heavy heart expressing our sadness with the loss of our dear dog friend Mounty. He passed away last night in his cage. Chipper, his best friend, was holding his paw. For some time now, Mounty has been dealing with some stomach issues. When he would eat, his stomach would get extremely swollen, almost like he had a twisted stomach ( Gastric dilatation volvulus (GDV)). After eating, he would drink A LOT of water. Because of this, we ended up feeding him only a half a cup of food for dinner. The night he passed on, I think he was fed a little bit more than half and he just couldn't handle it.

Yes, it is sad, but this is the reality we live in. These next five years are going to be interesting, as we still have 22 more fur babies to go. All we can do is just hold on and hope that we can get through the next couple years smoothly.

All we want is for these dogs to be extremely loved before they pass on to a different universe. Can you help?
