Daechwita Sketch
Hey! I'm back again with another drawing. I finished this sketch a day or two ago, but I kept telling myself that I would go back and redraw his eyebrow first, but at this point I'm not sure if I can be bothered. I tried to draw a scene out of a new music video, Daechwita by Agust D. The overall aesthetic made me fall in love. I'll drop the drawing and reference picture down below.
This time the sketching took ages, I couldn't seem to plan his proportions out well enough. I think I redid the sketch 5 times before completely abandoning the idea and refer the distance from whatever I had drawn already instead.
I drew his eye first, then the rest of his face.
After this I started shading.
+his jewelry was hard to draw, I don't usually draw jewelry much

Very nice sketch. Not being happy with ones sketches is normal I guess. off to the next one. You seem to be a perfectionist, which is still a good thing. I guess it's also the reason I could never get a tattoo. As soon as I finish a sketch of a painting it gets old already. Have you ever tried shading with a led pencil before?

Thank you so much!! I used about 34 hours drawing in total until I was satisfied with the drawing, but I also ate, slept, and had school during that time. I didn't draw it all in one go.
I like to not look at a drawing later and think, 'oh, that could've been better', so in a way, perhaps I am? And yes, I used to shade with led all the time! But that was long ago. I just discovered the wonders of smudging so I'm kind of obsessed lol. I'm planning to try that again soon, thanks for the suggestion!
