Everybody's Got One

Read an interesting book by author Aaron James this week and had to share.
James is an ivy league Professor of Philosophy who loves to surf... enough said.
"Out of touch with reality," was my first thought in the book store.
Then when I realized that he had also penned "Assholes: A Theory of Donald Trump", I thought "oh boy, another political rant and I can't take the anger."

However the fact that he had the cojones to write a book about a phenomena that many experience on a daily basis yet can't put into more delicate terms, has endeared me. It really is a study-
I enjoyed his attempt to help us understand this sometimes unavoidable type of human being and to create a process to deal with them, referred to of course, as Asshole management.
I will spare you the long review. If you'd like, you can read it yourself. What I will do is suggest we think about how NOT to be an asshole. In everyday life, in love, online, at work, and yes...even in the cryptoverse.

Steemit is such a cool portal for free thinking and expression. For building a community, building personal wealth, and for over-all development. Let's hope the amount of schmucks and trolls we encounter on it will stay at a minimum.

A quick read like this tries to give an account of the morality, psychology and social construct around the making of this type of person, and the "when and hows" to avoiding them. Also, it's good to self-analyze from time to time, lest we become un-checked. Ha!

So unless you happen to be a conceited celebrity, a nasty politician, or an aggressive business man or woman...
Don't take this book personally! It might just help you deal with that one jerk who consistently ruins your day ;)
