Promoting Steemit in Belarus

dev.by is the largest IT platform in my home country Belarus. It does a great job in analyzing local IT companies, vacancies and salaries and keeps everyone up to date with the latest global and local IT news. Most of its visitors are software engineers or people related to local IT community.

It has recently published an article about Steemit's success with a link to Steem Whitepaper. Some users of dev.by do not understand how Steem works or why they would want to buy Steem Power, some don't respect cryptocurrecies in general and sure they'll cease to exist.

In the comments to the article I'm trying to explain people the basics of Steem concept, why it is not a Ponzi scheme, discuss general blockchain applicability and the basis behind the value of cryptocurrencies.
