Midsummer Polaroids
Paying homage to @eveuncovered and the nice Polaroids she posts.
Yesterday was Midsommarafton. In Sweden, a day of paying homage to fertility. Both when it comes to growing crops and making kids.
Midsommarstången is basically a phallus symbol that we dance and sing "Små grodorna" around.
This year our little gang did not really follow the usual traditions though.
Instead of singing, dancing and drinking nubbe. We just drank snaps, ate food and talked all night long.
And snapped some pictures! This one looks weird because it is double exposed.

What, no flower crowns? Well, not for us either.
Well, the last pic is a tobacco-face-flower. Also we did go for a walk to find seven different flowers.
The myth is if you put seven kinds of flowers under your pillow you will dream about the person you will one day marry.
Those are some nice polaroids. I miss my old polaroid. I will probably get the new ones that are out but it's just not the same.
That double exposed one lookes weird but interesting :)
These where taken with one of the new once. And I do agree, it's not the same.
But it still has a whole different feeling from using a digital camera.
