No Problems With Socialization Here
When someone says they homeschool, the first question asked is about socialization. The myth is we stay at home all the time and the children don't have a chance to make friends.
In my city, that couldn't be further from the truth. There are so many meet ups, field trips and programs, we usually have to pace ourselves and pick and choose.
This photo sums up our socialization. We were at a field trip yesterday and met up with friends and made new ones. These 3 pairs of sisters held hands throughout the hour and enjoyed exploring the museum together. The girls range from 4 to 9.

We don’t get asked about socialozation so much.
I think here (in California) more people wish they had the time (and patience) to home school their kids too. I get a lot of oohs and ahs and a few questions about how - but not much eyebrow raising.
That's good to hear! Luckily we don't get asked much anymore, but it still comes up once in a while. It defintely seems to be on the rise in my area.
