With rusted freedom
brittle it breaks.
Stilted breaths
top mental peaks.
Confined inside.
To stay alive
they say.
Our lives are worth
so live to serve,
those towers...
Gilted, ivory
Of little girth.
Spent, flaccid
They fall to earth.
