SPAIN CHAMPION!!!
The Spanish Under-19 national team has been proclaimed champion of the 44th edition of the Atlantic Cup on Friday, defeating Japan 2-0, goals scored in the second half of the match, played in Maspalomas (Gran Canaria). The team led by Luis de la Fuente gets his XXII title in this international youth competition.
The first half of the game culminated with a goalless draw, where both teams were very even, but by the second half, when the "blue samurai" enjoyed their best minutes, Spain went ahead on the scoreboard with a goal from Miguel de la Fuente, Real Valladolid footballer, a few seconds after his opponents wasted a clear goal opportunity.
