Promobot Terms of Service v8 - New curration interface + curration reward paid to delegators (25%)
Promobot is a premium up-voting service that can get you content the attention it deserves by ranking it higher in trending pages.
How does it work?
- Send a transfer with the post link as memo to @promobot
- Promobot will tally up the payment and proportionally auction 100% of a vote among all bidders.
- Votes are cast when voting power is at 100% (2.4 hours or less).
Features
Votes cost of bidbots can vary a lot depending on market condition but not with @Promobot.
- Overbidding protection limit you cost to -1.5%. (Negative cost = Profit)
- Improved price feed for vote value estimation. (live feed)
- Posts that purchase more than 20 STEEM worth of promotion get resteemed.
Cost and limits
- Minimum payment 10 STEEM or 10 SBD.
- STEEM bids get an extra 1.5% and SBDs -1.5%.
- Post less than 20min old are accepted but upvoted the next round.
- Maximum cost of -1.5% *
- Maximum profit of 4.5% *

How in the world is $12.77 ANYWHERE CLOSE TO YOUR 2% to 5% PROFIT listed on steembottracker?
I sent in 12.77... The worst on the market and not even close to breakeven... FALSE ADVERTISING and PLEASE SEND ME THE DIFFERENCE OF MY SBD SUBMISSION TO MAKE IT EQUAL YOUR ADVERTISED RATE. I CALCULATE IT TO BE AT LEAST 1 SBD.

Thank you for the reply. Just so you know the other bots in the same time frame that were reporting a breakeven level were giving a 1.43x to 1.50x (vote to sbd ratio).... I appreciate you at least looking into it.
The price of Steem went up a lot, By the time your post pays out it will be way higher than that.
Promobot isn't using the 3 day media to value it's vote. So it's vote is always more accurate to what you will get.

I'm not going to argue with you. Both of us know the truth. I see many votes from many bots and yours is not even close to the breakeven level. To claim that you voted that way based on a "3 day media value" is complete and utter bullshit.
I am a big boy, I have learned in life to stay away from those people that can lie straight to your face. You and I both know the truth. So I will just say I hope you can sleep at night and that the money is worth it to you. You will never get a bid from me again ever.

I meant median value, The value of the vote you see is based on steem internal price 1.29.
At the link I sent you it show a vote value of 111.269, Steembot tracker shows 73.56
Trust us, by the time your post pay out it's more likely that price of steem is what it is now than what it was 3 days ago.
Also next time send you bid in STEEM instead of SBD if you want to expect 4.5% return.
There was a confusion with the configuration so it was actually 4.5% and not 5%, I've sent you the difference back.

Because the bot has been modified to not reject 0 min bids anymore. It will vote them in next round though.

I say it's pretty frustrating the way all these paid upvote bots work. Or at least some of them.
I also had a little issue with this bot since the data on steemitbottracker is incorrect. I think the bots need to update their data on steemitbottracker their selves....?

Anyways in this case it should be the difference between having a break even result and making 20% profit.

Well for your info mister it seems that I didn’t receive any votes at all from promobot. Been waiting and it’s already been 6 hrs and I didn’t receive upvotes from promobot. Please do something. Your bot causing people to lose a lot of steem already. This is gonna be my last bid under. Will warn my friends to not use this bot anymore to prevent any loses in the future. Would be glad and I’d thank the stars and the moon if I’d be refunded for this. 30 STEEM matters a lot to me so yeah I hope You can sleep at night scamming people out. I'm not the bot owner. So can't help you. It looks like other people suffer the same issue. Only @finprep for an upvote, but I don't understand why cause I didn't see a transfer to the bot.

I understand that there is risk in using bidbots. Promobot advertises a minimum ROI of -3%. However, during the last round my post was upvoted from promobot resulting in a ROI of -50.47%.
Is there something wrong in the bot's algorithm that did not cap the loss at a ROI of -3%?
I like using promobot and think this is a one-off flaw. I hope this can be prevented in the future.
