Euagoras plagiatus.

Hi friends of the Nature Observer community, I hope today we all stay healthy and all activities always run smoothly.
As usual today we meet again here in a discussion about insect species where I discovered an insect called Euagoras plagiatus.

This species is also categorized as a bed bug. They are very dangerous, especially to chili plants. Why this insect is called a stink bug is because the fluid in this species can cause rot in farmers' plants.

Friends, even though this species is a bed bug pest, what is certain is that they are unique in terms of body shape, color, and also their two very long antennae. You can see its uniqueness in some of the pictures below.

Latin name Observation date Location
Euagoras plagiatus 17.08.2024 Tanah Luas, Kabupaten Aceh Utara.
