Kaneana Cave

Kaneana Cave

It is located about 280 feet above sea level on a ridge of Makua valley.
This is not a kid or pet friendly hike.
It is a vertical incline on a dry, powdery, and rocky terrain.

There are disclaimers that warn trespassers of prohibited entry because the military uses the valley for ammunition and bombing drills. Thankfully, this hike is NOT in the middle of the valley where most of the drills happen. I am in no way saying it is OKAY to do the hike. I'm just letting you know my thoughts.

The view is amazing though!! It was worth every drop of sweat. Best part was ending the hike with a swim at the beach across the street 😊
