Arctan was the quickest and most efficient car, finished 6th overall car While Arctan shared several of the same internal components as Luminos, the design was completely new from the ground up..
Arctan featured a catamaran style, with the driver seated on right side of the car inside the wheel well (Luminos’ driver compartment was centered.
We also continued to use the highly efficient and proprietary motors we had from Luminos and designed and built our own array in-house. A change in the encapsulation stack produced a visibly different finish of the solar cells.
