I can still recall an event that humbled me and robbed me of my ego in front of a crowd. I'm Johnson, the CEO of V-Bliss Perfumeries, and I was invited to an entrepreneurship program to anchor a talk on how to start a business the right way. Little did I know that this invitation would lead to a big embarrassment.

I attended the program, and when it was my turn to present, I took my first bold step and walked to the podium. However, as I was about to climb the podium, I missed a step and fell flat on my buttocks. What an embarrassment that was. I wished the ground would open up and swallow me, or that it would all be over when I opened my eyes, like it was just a bad dream. Unfortunately, neither of those things happened.

I faced the shame head-on and continued with my talk, trying my best to put the incident behind me. Despite the mishap, I managed to deliver my speech, though I'm sure it was a memorable experience for the audience. The incident was a humbling experience, reminding me that even the most confident individuals can face unexpected setbacks.
