I need some advice! - Native language?

Hello Steemit! Please help me out with some advice!

My native language is Romanian. It is this language I can write better with. Yes, my English skills are quite alright, but they don't compare to the language that I am most used to.

Now, here's the thing.

First of all, if I write my posts in English, i will have a bigger audience, I will make myself easier to understand and more approachable. I get it.

Though...

I've been thinking about only using my native language when writing my stuff. Yes, I know that my audience will probably be a handful of people (unless i promote it heavily to all my facebook aquaintances)... Yes, I know that my profits will be insignificant, and that means that my influence will be small.

But...

I strongly believe that all the topics that I am interested in and that I want to post about had already been thoroughly discussed in English. "Nothing new under the Sun", am I right? But if I start writing in my native language, I could possibly form a small Romanian audience, because what I am interested in is pretty much "original" and taboo in my country, and not many are brave or interested enough to talk about "new agey" things, asian philosophies, spirituality, alternative healing or whatever. Not only will I be able to express myself better in my mother tongue, but the Romanian audiece would digest it easier and maybe will even be more prone to engage in discussions.

There is also the option to rewrite the same post in both languages, but that doesn't speak to me. It seems like a lot of work, I have a lot of school stuff to deal with, the exams are approaching, and this blog is only a hobby, something I wanted to try. Writing the same post two times, and trying to translate some complicated terms or expressions that may be difficult to make any sense of in English seems pointless to me.

What do you think about all this? Please help me out in taking a decision!
