Looking back in time. Thoughts on crypto investments

BitShares have exploded recently, but if we take a look a year back, they are down vs BTC big time, both have gained USD value as of now, however BitShares can quickly drop back to the same levels, in fact price was down there at the same level just a week ago...
Any coin can pump and dump, but coins with low and fixed supply do better over long periods of time.
