Kasar Devi Temple Travel Experience – A Divine Journey in the Valleys of Almora🏞️
Hello to all my dear friends I hope everyone is well, your days are going well and will be better in near future.I am good with your unconditional support.
Friends, today I went to visit Kasar Devi temple with my friend. Kasar Devi temple is situated on the top of the hills 10 km away from Almora. We suddenly planned to go to the temple. I got a call from my friend and I got ready. We left from Almora at around 11 am. It took us about 20 minutes to reach the temple. As we were moving towards the height, the cool breeze of dense pine trees on the way was soothing the mind. As soon as we reached the temple, it felt as if we had come to a different world.

On reaching there, first of all we took off our shoes and slippers, After that we washed our hands and feet and reached the premises of the temple. We felt a sense of peace in our mind.
I took a lot of photos of the temple which I am sharing with you, I hope you will like them.
Friends, the atmosphere of Kasar Devi temple is very calm and spiritual. This temple is built on the top of the hill, after reaching where one gets to see the beautiful view of the entire Almora city and the lush green mountains.
Today the temple was closed due to solar eclipse and the crowd here was very less compared to normal days. Otherwise devotees and tourists come here in large numbers from far and wide.

Whoever comes to the temple, brings a chunari with them for Mata Rani and ties it on this tree in front of the temple, which looked very beautiful in the temple premises.

The greenery spread around the temple and the tall pine trees make this place even more special. The light breeze, the calm atmosphere and the changing colors of the sky were heart-warming. We spent a lot of time here and captured this beauty of nature on camera. From here, we get to see the view all around, from which we can see the small villages coming in contact with Almora from this place.

After that we went to see the temple where Swami Vivekananda had sat in this secluded cave and performed meditation and difficult spiritual practices.

After visiting the cave, we started going towards the main temple and we saw monkeys on the way who were eating the Prasad. I stopped for some time and captured pictures on my phone.
Friends, monkeys come on the way to bite people and also snatch whatever things people carry for the temple.

Cute photo of lizard 🦎

A beautiful view can be seen from here and there is a big stone where people get their photos clicked. A beautiful view of Almora city can be seen from this stone. People who come to visit the temple get themselves and their families photographed on this stone.

Then we reached the main place of the temple, from here the view of the temple looks like this, after reaching the main temple, we saw the temple from outside and took prasad after the darshan.

This door was completely made of wood and had beautiful handmade artwork on it.

The temple premises were very clean. I and my friend sat at this place for about 2 hours and chatted with the temple priest and asked about the temple. He told that this temple is situated at a height of 2,116 meters above sea level. And this temple is famous for its unique geomagnetic properties. Kasar Devi first came to notice when Swami Vivekananda visited the place in the 1890s and meditated there and wrote a diary.

Friends, Kasar Devi Temple is not just a religious place, but it is also an ideal place for nature lovers and those who seek peace. Every moment here fills the soul with positive energy.

Friends, you must visit this holy place once and visit this wonderful Kasar Devi temple situated on the top of the mountain. By coming here you will not only experience divinity but will also find a different kind of peace and joy in the lap of nature.
