This is my second entry for the #portraitcontest. I thought to accompany it poetry. I'm no poet with sweet words, but I'll try to do OK.
Dead
Howbeit my heart still breathes
There I was, speechless
Yet a voice resounded deep within
I was sightless
How my inner eyes watched the happenings outside.
I was stripped of mobility,
Oh!!! How agile dreams took me miles away.
Dead,
But I was dead alive.
