While he explains why XRP is not a crypto the way BTC is, he also explains what needs to happen if XRP has to succeed. The key here is that all banks have to stand behind XRP and it has to become reserve currency for international transfers.

Now all Ripple investors need to justify what are the chances of banks accepting a pseudo-crypto as reserve currency.
