South Beach Classic

One of my favorite captures from my old haunts. South Beach, Miami Beach. Back in the early days when the movie Scarface came out, this area was near death and crime riddled.

Shortly afterwards when Miami Vice exploded into the mainstream, South Beach was an exciting place to be. Penrods Beach club was like Spring Break every day of the week. It was the place to be as a college kid. Sadly, those days are long gone. Like everything else, it's about being at the right place at the right time. Just glad I was there to see it before and during the boom. Thanks for checking this out.
