Why Newfoundland? I'm from Canada and I don't get it, except maybe the "Newfie" part
A few years back I read they were extremely libertarian. They are so far off the main land, they are pretty much making their own rules which are not much. They are like the Murican Alaska.
Their situation has improves thanks to oil drilling, yes, but I don't see NF as even being classically liberal.
