Brown Bin Woes

In the UK we have brown bins to put our garden waste in and in our area we have had to start paying £40 for one years use. I refused to pay this as I pay enough council tax but have come to the realization that a bin is needed as I have a biggish garden and generate way too much rubbish to keep taking it to the tip. It is in fact costing me more in petrol to get it to the tip and it takes up most of my boot unless my kids are in the car then I have to take less. It is more hassle than it is worth so I am putting my hand in my pocket and paying out. Oh well, I had better get earning some more money.
