German saying 3

There is a cover for every pot.
Jeder Topf findet sein Deckelchen.
Meaning: Everybody will find someone who fits to him or her. No matter if you are young, old, pretty, a really ugly person...

But there is one matter of fact where this saying in not true.

When I look into my cupboard and search for a cover of a plastik box.
Sometimes the cover is missing and sometimes the box.
But I think when people imagined this saying there was no plastic.
