IS YOUR NETWORK SELECTIVE?
Hey everyone
Welcome back to Reineesmay’s blog,before I dive into the actual topic of today I want to share a little constraint and challenge with you guys and I would love for opinions too because this issue is setting me back. Am I the only Nigerian who is experiencing network selection? Like, I use the GLO network, although I also have an Airtel line in my android device but the GLO network is my major network, it’s where I go my major subscription and all to gain access to the internet. Recently hive doesn’t open
With the GLO network I noticed. I thought it was a problem at first till I tried doing a small money subscription on my Airtel line and used it to try to open my hive account and it went through.
It’s a real challenge for me as I always have to make these subscription just to be able to gain access to hive. When I already have enough subscription in my GLO SIM card. It’s really annoying and it’s slowing down my appearance here more and more, when ever I think of how I have to subscribe first on my other device and then use Wi-Fi to access data on my main device before gaining access to my hive account I just get really discouraged and reluctant and end up not being here for days.
If there is one thing we can all agree on is there easy accessibility is part of the things that gives inspiration and courage to blog, a shitty internet network can be really frustrating.
This is where I currently am right now. I have thought of opening hive on my other device and just be using that phone for hive but it’s android and I am not a fan, no disrespect to anyone please, it’s hard to use it, I just have it for having sake and put my
Other sim in it, i also use it majorly to download movies though. It has no pictures no social medial app or nothing on it so Using it would be really difficult.
Please guys let me know if you experience this too, and help me with suggestions, a girl needs some real good moral right now, I miss being on here regularly, I have a ton of content to drop but this particular situation with my network keeps trusting my courage and drive.

Hmm...Probably what @young-boss-karin is experiencing. I only use mtn for now and it works well.
Hello fine girl, first of all that selfie is hot. Secondly, I'm sorry about your network issues hun, I use glo too but I can't say I am familiar with this issue though I had a friend mention he was having troubles accessing hive with his glo but I don't know if that is still happening.
Did you try other frontends? Maybe you can put the other sim on your Iphone and just buy more data on it and see if it'll resolve shortly.

Yup. It's selective. I had to switch to MTN anytime I need to post but when I can't I use Hive front end or Ecency. I was frustrated for a week.

Lol so the network issues are all over. Ghanaian here but our network connections are as shitty as yours if not worse lol. MTN and Vodafone have really decided to go rogue because they’re moat popular networks here, and because Glo and Airtel is not that fancied by many Ghanaians.
If you could afford it, try buying a router. It serves a wide range of purposes aside getting you out of your current predicament.
Not all iPhones though, did you check if yours does? So sorry babes. ❤️

So sorry for the network issues Rookie. I don't use GLO, so I may not know how to resolve this issue but hopefully, glo users might come to your aid.

I'm not using Glo but I also experienced issues accessing peakd recently but I found a way.
My sister had once had this issue, I can't remember how she said she sorted it out. @treasuree
I guess for the main time, you can continue subscribing on the Airtel line and keep connecting it to the other device via WIFI.
well i still cant use my glo network to access peaked on my phone, only on my pc.
and even though on my pc it takes a long time to load, if you have a better network provider switch to it, but for me, I still prefer Glo data than airtel, whenever I subscribe my airtel I don't use it for up to a day @reineesmay
Me I like Airtel sha, I even bought a 4G pocket MIFI today, still Airtel.
