Promote your post with custom raffles by @reversed-bidbot plus 5 STEEM contest

@reversed-bidbot is an new innovative tool to promote your posts, opposed to the usual bidbots that provide suboptimal results in reader engagement, profit and controll.
Instead of buying a large upvote, @reversed-bidbot rewards users that actually interact with your posts. A detailed summary can be found here

Lotteries and Raffles

One of the best ways to bring some excitement to your posts is hosting a small contests and games. And nothing is more exciting than a lottery! @reversed-bidbot is now updated to automatically and securely bring provably fair lotteries to your posts.

The bot manages and distributes tickets to anyone up-voting the post. After 7 days (or earlier if you request it) the bot will then provide a summary post and draw a random number from the steem blockchain itself from which the winner is computed. The jackpot is then automatically transferred to that account.

While you certainly can manage raffles on your own, @reversed-bidbot brings advantages for both parties. The participants know that you have already committed the funds and cannot cheat in the random drawing. You save the work of doing the raffle and since your post will be supported by @reversed-bidbot it is likely to attract additional people to your post.

How to promote your post with a raffle

Setting up a raffle is simple! All you need to do is send raffle: followed by the link to the post, or lottery: followed by the link to the post to @reversed-bidbot. The money transferred will then be used to setup a lottery on your post, that distributes tickets for participation based on the value of the upvotes your post receives.
People wanting to participate do not need to register anywhere, all they need to do is upvote and they will automatically get their tickets.

The random drawing is performed after 7 days when the post pays out. But it can be done before when you send clear: plus the link to your post to @reversed-bidbot.

Raffle or Lottery?

We support two different types of random drawings. A lottery means that the jackpot (all of the money send to @reversed-bidbot) is transferred to the winner. Tickets are not limited and distributed according to the criteria you have set up (the standard is according to the value of the upvotes).

The second option is a raffle. In this case there is a limited supply of tickets that may run out. When not all are awarded the author gains back a part of the promotion. This makes it possible to create raffles that pay out in relation to the success of your post.

You could for example promote a post with 2 steem and set the tickets to be distributed based on half the upvote value. Then no matter how many votes you get, the full liquid payout of the post will be send to the winner of the raffle and if that is less than 2 steem, you will get the open amount back. No matter what happens you are guaranteed to make more money than is distributed in the raffle.

These two options were chosen because they are the most common scenarios in user held raffles.
