Overnight Storms

There was concern the storm might have hail up to 2 inches in diameter. That heavy part went around us. But, we're having constant heavy rain that can cause flash flooding.

I went out and rescued some kittens. I knew the mama cat had them stashed in a nook under an eve. I saw her under our car without the kittens. They had stayed in place. They were drenched. So, I made them a shelter under our car port. She accepted the shelter and is nursing them. Hopefully they don't get sick. I'll check in tomorrow morning and fortify the shelter to keep dogs out.

Those storms were pretty insane - I felt them out in the New Braunfels area. And perfect weather the last few days.

Several places lost power down here. Some minor flooding.
