Ingredients

1 one/2 cups general flour
3 1/2 teaspoons leaven
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 one/4 cups milk
1 egg
3 tablespoons butter, thawed Add all ingredients to list

Directions:
In a giant bowl, sift along the flour, leaven, salt and sugar. build a well within the center and pour within the milk, egg and fusible butter; combine till swish.

Heat a gently oiled griddle or frypan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, mistreatment some 1/4 cup for every hotcake. Brown on either side and serve hot.
