Starting out on Splinterlands
So I just started out playing Splinterlands, truthfully I don’t know much about blockchains, crypto, or anything in that matter. I started looking into blockchain games because of the popularity in AxieInfinity. Throughout my research, I felt like Splinterlands would be a better investment for me, as someone who is uncomfortable in shelling out bigger amounts of money. The $10 fee made it seem feasible to ease into the game. It hasn’t even been 24 hours since I started playing, but I’m starting to get the hang of the gaming mechanics. I’ll be utilizing the rental feature of the game a lot, but hopefully I’ll be able to get some cards of my own soon!

Also, as Hive can sometimes be quite confusing, the newly launched Newbies Guide should be helpful to you, as it is a growing repository of useful and easy to understand posts about how the Hive ecosystem works.

Nice it is really fun once you get into it ! Some investment in rentals can be good as higher levels payout more chests in quests and end of season rewards which drop cards and dec :)
Yes! I’ve been looking at rentals already! It helped me gain a into Bronze II, but still have a long ways to go 😅 Will earn more DEC before renting more!
