How can we impress our bf during first date?

Offer to pay for the food if you go out for a meal. As a guy I've been on many dates where it was expected of me to pay for the date and where girls would end up ordering expensive items on the menu. The best date I went on was the first date with my wife, and she ordered  food in the restaurant and drinks and then paid the whole bill. Nobody had done that for me ever before.
