Lake Synevyr

Lake Synevyr, without exaggeration - the legend of the Carpathians. This is the largest and mysterious mountain lake in Ukraine. Search for this pearl is necessary among the rocks and forests of the mountain range of Inner Gorgan Mountains, on the lands of the homonymous national park. The Sea Eye of the Carpathians is located at an altitude of about thousand meters above sea level, its maximum depth is 24 m. Synevyr is high in the mountains and its waters are so deep that the lake does not warm up even in summer. In the hottest days, only a couple of meters of water will be warm, but it's worth diving deeper - and you'll be burned by the icy cold.
