Every year, we head out to gather a little bit of nature’s goodness at the excavation site of the Slavic fortified settlement in Mikulčice. There’s an incredible amount of it growing there. It’s a lovely spring walk, and we get to bring home a little bit of spring’s vitality. No big bags. Just a small paper bag for a spread or simply for bread and butter.
