WHY ARE STEEMIT ACCOUNTS NOT APPROVED???
Hi everyone my cuzin wans to join steemit but she has been waiting for almost two weeks now, for her accound to be approved...what's going on? Is steemit going to approve the account and if it's not going to approve the account can they atleast notify the person via email and give a reason too.
Is the AIM is not to grow the steemit community?? i did not wait that long to get my account approved why is it different with her account?? waiting can be really discouraging?
how is the approval done and why is it taking this long?

Damn really? Mine only took less than a day!
I read that some people it's taken them 3 hrs to 2 weeks!

mine took only 2 days thats why im so confused...but i hope she gets approved soon
As soon as I got the email saying that i will have to get it approved I looked to see how long the wait was... i was like I hope i am not one of those unlucky few that has to wait weeks :/

Mine took a couple of hours as well. I don't know if there is some sort of identity verification process they use. But I would not be too surprised, the idea is to avoid having a massive surge of bots advertising for porn sites and alike. Question for you, did your friend use a newly created email?
i really dont know if she used a newly created email i asked her but im still waiting on her response...

Hey. It only took less 24 hours for my account to be verified. This surely is an isolated case.
