An unplanned hard fork has happened!

Right about block 494784 (or 494782) a small percentage of miners were still signalling segwit2x and forked the bitcoin chain. Normally this could be verified on btcforkmonitor.info - but the site is down! (likely due to wayyy to much traffic)

With only about 7.6% of miners trying to implement the fork, it will likely be unsuccessful. Block times for BTC were averaging 15 min, so for segwit2x, it should average... a little over 3 hours!
