Abandoned Shit.Weekly Contest - №.3 - Vehicles. #aswcontest

Here I present to you my entry for the Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest.

This truck is currently sitting at about 14,000 miles above sea level, next to an icy lake near Telluride Colorado. My only guess is that it was used as a lumber hauler for the old cabins that can be found in the area, most of which are also completely broken down and abandoned. Not depicted in the photo is a matching dull red phone booth from the same era. Why in god's name that is up there I don't know, but it makes for a quite the visual pallet amongt the grey cliff faces, the evergreens and the ice blue lake. The only way to access this remote section of the mountain is by 4X4 vehicle and only during the summer. Any other season and its impossible to reach due to the insane amount of ice and snow that takes most of the year to melt away.
