Hello friends of Steemit, today I share with you the meaning of "Mamar Gallo".
This Venezuelan expression is born because in cockfights it is customary to suck the cock's head so that it flee and tire its opponent.
By regaining the sense of direction the rooster can attack with greater opportunity.
When he is suspected of this dishonest practice, he exclaims, "They are giving me a cock!"
In everyday life the Venezuelan uses it as a synonym for playing tricks or playing a joke.
