I've been wanting to learn how to code for quite a while now, and lack of time meant I hadn't made much progress. Now, thanks to AI, I can build things that used to be impossible for me. So, thanks to Claude's invaluable collaboration, I've been able to create Hive Scope, a web tool for checking real-time statistics on the Hive blockchain — both for the global network and for any individual account. Today I want to share it with the community.

What you can see

Network-wide:

• Last block and current witness
• HIVE price, HIVE/HBD supply, virtual supply
• HBD interest rate (APR) and print rate
• Staked HIVE (HP) and staking ratio
• DAO fund, block reward, and total reward pool

For any account (just type the username):

• Profile, reputation, account age
• Voting mana and real vote value in HIVE/USD — calculated with your actual current mana, not just the 100% estimate
• Effective Hive Power, incoming/outgoing delegations, active power down
• HIVE/HBD balances, savings, total portfolio value in USD
• Resource Credits, witnesses voted, pending rewards, followers

• HP distribution and balance breakdown charts

• Filterable recent activity — transfers, posts, votes, rewards, or other — each linking straight to the transaction

How it's built

No frameworks — plain HTML and JavaScript. It talks directly to public Hive RPC nodes with automatic failover (if one node fails, it tries the next), so there's no backend to depend on. Fully bilingual UI (ES/EN) — the screenshots above are in English, but you can switch languages with one click.

Still under active development — feedback and ideas are always welcome, in the comments or on GitHub.

Cómo está hecho

Sin frameworks: HTML + JavaScript puro. Se conecta directamente a nodos RPC públicos de Hive con failover automático (si un nodo falla, prueba con el siguiente), así que no depende de un backend propio. Interfaz bilingüe (ES/EN) — de hecho, las capturas de arriba están en español, pero puedes cambiar el idioma con un clic.
