Carnivals throughout Spain.

The carnival is celebrated in different regions throughout Spain, but the biggest events can be found in the Canary Islands, primarily in Tenerife, in the historic city of Cadiz, Andalusia, in the green landscapes of Galicia, and in Sitges, Catalonia.

Largest Carnival in Tenerife is held in February in the capital of Santa Cruz and attracts people from all over the island and the world. If you are on a Tenerife summer vacation, this event can not be missed! The main square in Santa Cruz is beautifully decorated, filled with numerous stalls, music and a lively party atmosphere.

The Carnival lasts a week, where endless street events and events such as music concerts, dance ensembles, best disguise competitions and antique car parades are guaranteed. "Coso" is the main carnival event and takes place on Tuesday. This is a great, spectacular parade which is the official conclusion of the Carnival, which undoubtedly attracts the most participants and observers.
