Random Thoughts 1

I see around me a political tension that I have never felt before. There is a growing unease in the back of my mind and its soft whispering is growing louder. I feel as if Americans all along the political spectrum have forsaken wisdom and embraced emotionalism.
I think we can all look to each other and see the signs of a 30s Germany and sense how things may have spiralled so horrifically. The fact that both sides are feeling this is further evidence in my opinion that we are approaching some sort of critical mass as a society. I am praying for us all and for a return to sensibilities, but I also am not holding my breath...
