CONECTARNOS CON NUESTROS ORÍGENES: Mi proceso creativo // CONNECTING WITH OUR ORIGINS: Creative process

Esta es una pequeña escultura que hice con yeso tallado y pátina de óxido de diferentes colores. Este tipo de caras arrugadas son una constante en mi lenguaje plástico, sin embargo, el concepto de esta pieza (expresado en el título) se me presentó después de que terminé, cuando sentí que los colores y las formas me hablaron sobre nuestras culturas nativas.

This is a small sculpture I made with carved plaster and oxide patina of different colors. This type of wrinkled faces are a constant in my plastic language, however, the concept of this piece (expressed in the title) was presented to me after I had finished, when I felt that the colors and the shapes spoke to me about our native cultures.
