ZUNI OUR WOLF

We lost her last week. After 14 years of her protecting us and loving us with such amazing unconditional love. I hope she knew how much she meant to us all. I hope her end days weren't as bad as I now believe they were.
I'm a nurse of humans.....I did my best. I struggled with my husband..."she can't breathe"...."look how she is panting".
It's fine he said. It's hot out.
She had cancer. Around her heart. Who knew that could happen?
I miss you sweet girl. Miss hearing your wolf howl and verbalizations!!
I loved you heart and soul and your big paw on my heart will always be here.
