Sunday impressions

We enjoyed a beautiful quiet summer-day.

After weeks of rain and grey in grey the sun had finally won the battle and we enjoyed a clear blue sky. What made this day even better was the annual maintenance service interruption from MECO.
The island had gone quiet, okay not entirely quiet and probably not the whole island but at least large parts of it.
It was so beautiful to take a walk and actually hear the wind in the treetops and the few birds that we have left in the city sing.

While walking I saw this adorable picture. A young father taking his two little girls for ice-cream. This was so precious and so adorable I had to take a picture of their forms sitting side by side with identical hair dues the little heads at an angle while licking their cones. - A perfect day :-)
