Noise Will Make Your Ears Bleed

So as it starts to become summer in Australia we welcome our summer storms. But we also get a noisy unwelcomed visitor - the cicadas. They are a superfamily of millions, the Cicadoidea of insects in the order Hemiptera. These guys grow as big as your hand and from sun up to sun down we get to listen to this. Don't recommend walking under tree's at this stage though, as you will fell like it's starting to rain ☔
