How to use Ethereum ENS

Since metamask/ENS website is a bit bugged , this is how I do it:

Go to ENS http://registrar.ens.domains/ and check an address for its availability. then go to MyEtherWallet and choose the ENS button put in the address you want

Then copy your Private Key from Metamask

and paste it on https://www.myetherwallet.com/#ens

Then you can place a bid for the address you were looking for , and screenshot/copy the details in the >reveal phase<

NOTE: Once you have placed a bid, a screen will pop up and you are supposed to screenshot it. After the transaction has taken place "view the transaction" to make sure everything went fine.

Reveal phase: it starts 72 hours after the first bid and you are supposed to manually reveal it. When you forget about the 72 timer, go to http://registrar.ens.domains/ and check your domain

Once the reveal phase kicks in, go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/#ens and enter your domain and Private key and it will ask you to reveal your bid. Enter the details which you took a screenshot of and you are done. If your bid is the highest the address will be forwarded to you

You won the bid? Go to http://registrar.ens.domains/ and enter the domain you won and you will be able to either transfer it or set to default resolver
