Getting into Crypto - what works for you?

I am new to the fabulous world of crypto and have started looking into it a bit deeper, I have opened up an account on openledger.io and I was just looking for some feedback on the platform and if there is a better platform for a total newbie like myself to use.

To be honest, I am a bit overwhelmed by the platform, but think that if I take my time and learn about it, then this will be time well spent.

Having said that I would welcome advice from other people here in Steemit and would love to hear about what worked successfully for you.
