Porkilicious fine dining

Over a lazy weekend, i decided to visit a local restaurant with my lovely wife.

Located in the heart of Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia, JD's fine foods has been serving up delicious food for all to enjoy for many years.

For starters, we ordered the baked mussels served in the most amazing slightly spicy chilli cream sauce.
This dish is served with afew slices of toasted bread which in all honesty tastes just as good the mussels themselves!
All the delicious sauce is absorbed by the bread and makes for a treat!

We also ordered the pork balls served with a light lemon sauce. The acidic flavor of the sauce mixed with the salty pork balls really work well together i must say!

Next for our appetizer, we opted to share a small serving of the sausage feast!
The original feast comes with four different variants of sausages freshly made by the kitchen everyday!
As for the smaller version, it comes with two sausages, one slightly spicy pork sausage and another savory onion sausage.
The dish is served with a healthy portion of mustard which i highly recommend trying.

Finally, we finished off with the small family sampler (again a smaller portion of the original, since its just the two of us)

This beast of a plate comes with bacon, honey pork ribs, roasted pork belly, roasted pork skin, roasted chicken, and two pork sausages (Yes if we had known, we wouldn't have ordered two more sausages earlier -_-)
All this is served with cut chili with dark soy sauce. The spicy and salty flavor combined with the crispy meats work very well together giving the most amazing aftertaste after crunching in to the meat!

I would definitely come again & would highly recommend JD's to anyone visiting the tourism city of Miri, Sarawak.
