Let The Paint Flow

I have been engaged in acrylic painting since last year. But it's my first time to try this technique. All you have to do is to mix and pour paint on your canvas and let them flow !!!

Here's some idea on how to make your first flow painting.

First of all, prepare your canvas, acrylic paint, water, cups and stirrer. You can also add glitters or any metallic color paint to give accent on your painting. In my painting, I added gold glitters and gold acrylic paint.

It's gonna be a messy painting session so make sure that you put some scratch paper or plastic to protect the surface you will work onto.

Mix your acrylic paint with a small amount of water until you get the texture of a strong but flowing paint. It should not be so thin and watery.

After that, pour the first acrylic mixture on your cup. Then add the next layer. You can mix it a little bit and see the effect later on your canvas. you can pour as many colors as you want.

And this is the fun part. Pour your cup of paint on your canvas and see how the paint flows. You can also control where will the paint flow by tilting your canvas.
