The history of coffee has been noted as far back as the 9th century. First, coffee only exists in Ethiopia, where native grains are planted by upland Ethiopians. However, when the Arabs began to expand their trade, coffee beans expanded to North Africa and coffee beans there were planted in bulk. It was from North Africa that coffee beans began to spread from Asia to the European market and its fame as a drink began to spread
