A Day at the Beach

I have traveled and spent some time with family and have been unable to post in steemit. So here is a quick post to show you where I spent my day at only 23 degrees, much lower when we left the house. After a 25 -30 minute bike ride, we arrived in Noordwijk, known to many tourists.

First, a nice cup of coffee when we arrived.

Then as many dutch do, have their own lunch consisting of sandwiches with a drink.

We touched the water with our feet, and they almost turned to ice. Although my daughter didn't seem to mind it.

It was quite nice in the sun, with a bit of wind to make it pleasant. We even had dinner there! Een broodje gezond! A healthy sandwich consisting of cheese, ham, lettuce, tomato and cucumber on wheat bread.

As you can tell, even though I used sunscreen, I got burned. We took advantage of a sunny day since it seems it will be raining all week except Wednesday. Hope you had a wonderful Monday. Hope I can tell you all about my trip to Madurodam soon! 👍😊
