How To GraphQL is a website dedicated to teaching both frontend and backend developers about GraphQL and how to start using it. The site has some introductory theory for learning GraphQL , but also has some very practical tutorials to get you started with GraphQL. There are various tutorials for different programming langauages including some resources for doing GraphQL on the backend with Python. Feel free to check this website out, probably the most comprehensive free resource for GraphQL.
