Trees In Paint Strokes

I dont usually do things like this, but i thought i would experiment with photoshop brushes and masking. The original image is from Yosemite National Park. What i did was create a mask onto a transparent background and using some brushes i found online, i created a mask that looks like the trees have been painted on. In the end i think i quite like it.
