[EN/PT-BR] Still trying to make money online
I've been looking for some options for working online. Just like Hive was for many people for a long time, a source of extra income, an alternative way to earn money online. After a while, and with the market cooling down as it has been for some time, it's still possible to get something out of Hive, but we know that with the current market, it's difficult to easily pay for things in real life.
I'm still looking for something to do. I've paused posting on Publish0x for now because of the hectic pace of developing Hive Grove, plus everything else happening outside of work. But it's been an interesting place to earn some money, even though the earnings are quite slow.
Some games pay in SATS, and that's it. I've tried to automate some form of earning, but haven't succeeded yet. I looked at some freelance websites, but the competition is enormous; for every opportunity, many, many people are vying to be chosen to take the project and earn some money. But in the end, it's not easy.
Maybe the era when making money online was easy has passed, and the well has run dry. I don't have the patience or the knack for monetizing YouTube or TikTok—unless I can use AI to help with it. My X (formerly Twitter) account never really took off, and attempts to monetize there were unsuccessful, too.
It seems like making money online isn't what it used to be—or maybe I’m just looking in the wrong places. What have you all been doing? Is there anything that offers a reliable payout, even if it’s small? Something that makes it worth the effort? I’m not looking for a get-rich-quick scheme; I don't mind if it takes time—whether it’s daily or weekly earnings—as long as I actually make something.
I’ve also spent time on those online survey sites, but I never make anything. Survey after survey, attempt after attempt—I hardly ever qualify for one, and when I do, I answer a bunch of questions only to get a flat "no" at the end. Man, it’s really frustrating, especially since it feels like nothing is working out.
Has the era of online financial windfalls really come to an end?
Tenho procurado por algumas opções sobre trabalho com a internet. Assim como a Hive foi por muito tempo para muitas pessoas, uma fonte de renda extra, uma forma alternativa de conseguir recursos financeiros com a internet. Depois de um tempo e o mercado esfriando como está há algum tempo, até dá para tirar algo da Hive, mas sabemos que com o valor atual, fica complicado ter algum tipo de facilidade para pagar as coisas na vida real.
Eu ainda tenho procurado algo para fazer. Dei uma pausa com as postagens no publish0x por enquanto, por conta da correria que está sendo desenvolver o Hive Grove, além de tudo o que acontece aqui fora, no dia a dia. Mas lá tem sido um lugar interessante para conseguir um pouco de grana apesar de ser bem devagar os ganhos.
Alguns joguinhos que pagam em SATS e é isso. Busquei tentar automatizar alguma forma de ganho, mas ainda não consegui, olhei alguns sites de freelance mas a concorrência é enorme, para cada oportunidade, muitas e muitas pessoas buscando serem escolhidas para poder pegar o projeto e ganhar alguma grana. Mas no fim não é fácil.
Talvez a era em que ganhar dinheiro com a internet era mais fácil já passou e agora a fonte secou. Eu não tenho paciência e nem jeito para monetizar Youtube ou Tik Tok, as menos que eu consiga usar algo de IA para isso. O meu X, antigo Twitter, nunca foi muito longe e mesmo tentando monetizar por lá, sem sucesso também.
Parece que ganhar algo com a internet não é mais como antigamente ou então eu que estou procurando nos lugares errados. O que vocês têm feito? Existe algo que paga com uma certa certeza mesmo que seja pouco? Algo que compense de alguma forma? Eu não me preocupo em dinheiro rápido, pode ser demorado, ganhos diários ou semanais mais demorados, contato que ganhe algo.
Já investi um tempo também naquelas pesquisas, de vários sites, mas nunca ganho nada. Pesquisas e pesquisas, tentativas e tentativas, quase nunca sou aprovado para uma e quando acontece, respondo várias perguntas para receber um singelo não no final. Caramba isso é bem frustrante também, já que parece que nada da certo.
Será mesmo que essa era das maravilhas financeiras na internet acabou?

I've mainly been scrapping Sterling silver on the side outside of Hive. There's a risk spot price could drop, but if you're willing to risk it and can buy Sterling for 15-20% under spot it's a decent side hustle.

I have tried Publish0x a long time back. But, the fact that they kept changing tokens was the reason for me to leave it. I came across some reviews for survey websites. But, it was negative. So, I haven't tried any of those. Yet, it is interesting to know what's out there.

For a long time, earning Hive really helped us cover our real-life expenses... It’s pretty low right now, but we strongly believe Hive will make a solid comeback on many fronts and that great times are ahead!!

It's a real struggle, isn't it? We're always trying something new that's relatively easy, but it's not that simple. We'll keep trying—eventually we'll find something that works.

Yeah, bro, business is about going after something, making ends meet with my day job, and always trying something new—even though it’s complicated sometimes. I’m always looking for something that requires a little or moderate effort to make money, but it’s not that simple.

Publish0x is an interesting alternative, but it's complicated and doesn't really pay off that much—still, it's an option worth considering. I've even tried other things, but without success. I'll keep looking; eventually, I'll find something cool.
That's interesting. I'm not sure if it would work well here in Brazil, but working with silver is certainly eye-catching. Maybe I'll take a little risk to learn more about it and see how it works—I might try something myself.
Yeah, it depends on what the refining market looks like, its capacity, and how easily you can find Sterling silver to send in to be refined.
